PRIMARY NEWS

News from the Primary Coordinator

The countdown has now begun for the end of the year, in particular for our Year 6 students who will be graduating soon. For our Year 6 students it is a special time where they reminisce and reflect on their Primary Years with mixed emotions of excitement, sadness and anticipation. We hope that the ceremony will be a memorable moment for both the students and their families and that students will look back at this moment of their lives with a smile on their face.

For our other students, there is the excitement and anticipation of going up a grade for next year.

This term, just like all others has been super busy with our Junior and Senior Athletics Carnival. Our senior students had the opportunity to go to Ross Reserve to take part in their track and field events. Well done to all students who participated and a a big Hooray to the winning house, Freeman. Congratulations to Green House who have now been the champions the 2nd time in a row.

Our students have taken part in many other exciting activities such as going to the CSRIO for fun filled science activities, IMAX was a great hit where some of the students got to watch the Hubble and learn all about Space and the Melbourne Museum is always a favourite with students.

Please remember to scroll down to find out about some of the great activities that our classes took part in.

A reminder to all parents that it is No Hat No Play this term and next and we encourage all students to be sun smart. Students are also encouraged to bring their own sunscreen to apply at school before they go out to play.

All the best to our students with their upcoming assignments and assessment tasks and looking forward to seeing all of my Year 6's at their Ceremony.

Kind Regards,
Yesim Balkaya
